Most web designers ask for a deposit before they start and monthly fees forever after. We work the opposite way: you pay only when your website is finished and you’re happy with it. Here’s exactly how our website process works, step by step, so there are no surprises at any point.

Step 1: Tell us about your business

It starts with a short conversation — what you do, where you work, who your customers are, and any websites you’ve seen that you like. A few details and any materials you already have (a logo, photos, your current pages) are plenty. No lengthy briefs, no jargon-filled questionnaires.

Step 2: Your free mockup

Before any money is discussed, we design a mockup of your homepage with your branding and content. You see what your website will look like — and only continue if you like it. (Our post on what a free website mockup is explains this step in full.) If it’s not for you, you stop here, owing nothing.

Step 3: We build the full website

Approve the mockup and we build the complete site: every page, your content written and laid out, contact forms wired to your email, click-to-call buttons, on-page SEO set up, and your first year of hosting included. You can watch it take shape on a preview link as we go — no black box, no disappearing for weeks.

Step 4: You review, we revise

You go through the finished site and send us one list of changes: text tweaks, photo swaps, colour adjustments. We make them. A website isn’t “done” because we say so — it’s done when it looks right to the person whose name is on it.

Step 5: Launch — then you pay

Only when the site is live and approved do you pay — one payment, at the package price agreed at the start ($100, $250 or $500 depending on size). No monthly fees follow. The website, its content and its Google presence belong to you, and your first year of hosting is already covered.

Why we work this way

Deposits protect designers, not customers. We’ve all heard the stories: money paid, designer slow, site unfinished, customer stuck. Pay-on-completion aligns everything properly — we succeed only by finishing work you’d happily pay for. It’s also why our whole process is built for speed and visibility: mockup first, preview link during the build, one clear price. Knowing how our website process works should make the decision boring — and boring is good when money is involved.

Start at step 1: tell us about your business and request your free mockup. The next step that costs you anything is the last one.
